Hello Robin
I happened to see an old query of yours, relating to Marion McIntosh.
The Marion who married Alexander Morrison in 1785 did not remarry and they
were still having children up to the 1800 period.
Hope this helps by clearing this couple from the options.

Hi Robin:

I don't know the Mackintosh family. However, in my transcript of the Durness
Parish Register the June 7, 1785 entry of Marion's marriage gives her alias
as "nin Hustian macnishiceniconil". This is probably nin Uisdean mac
Aonghas mhic Iain mhic ? or daughter of Hugh, son of Angus, son of John, son
of ?. Her residence was Arnoboll.

1764 is the earliest year of registration in the Durness register; however,
her birth was not registered in that year.

Ian
