At Cromarty Ferry, Cromarty, on the 13th ult., the wife of Mr W. Gordon, principal keeper, Auskerry Lighthouse, Orkney, of a son.

At Auchleach Stoneykirk, on the 6th inst., the Rev. John Macdowall, aged 90 years, for 50 years minister of the parish of Old-Luce.
At Wigtown, on the 8th inst., Mr David M'Jerrow, aged 75 years, an old and respected residenter, who lived the life and died the death of a Christian.
At Dunragit, on the 7th inst., Mr Patrick Crossa(n) aged 78 years.
At Oldbrick, parish of Whithorn, on the 30th ult., after a short illnesss, John Gibson, a native of the village, of Mochrum, in his 64th year.
