Would anyone have any information on either the above.?

The 1851 cesus has them both living at 8 ,St Andrews Street ,Stranraer.

Mary .Mother was Widowed and aged 47 . Born Ireland

Alexandrina ,daughter , was 15 .Born Stranraer ,single and a Sewer.

I have nothing else on either of them pre the 1851 Census ( or post in the case of Mary Milroy ,Mother) and I've hit a total block

Any help would be gratefully appreciated
