Jervis White Jervis, brother of the bride, Henry Hoghton, Esq., of Bold, Lancashire, eldest son of Sir Henry Bold Hoghton, Bart., to Alice, daughter of Sir Henry N. Jervis White Jervis, Bart., and grand-daughter of the late William Campbell, Esq., of Fairfield.

DEATHS

M'DOWALL, John - D21/5/1851 - At Bombay, on the 21st of May, John M'Dowall, Esq., second engineer of the Pekin, Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company, son of Bailie Hugh M'Dowall, of Stranraer. His early demise is much and deeply regretted.
KERR, Elizabeth - D4/7/1851 - Here, at Clayton, on the 4th instant, Elizabeth Kerr, wife of the late Mr John Kerr, shipmaster, aged 82 years.
M'CLELLAND, John - D28/5/1851 - At Goodwill, near Falmouth, Jamaica, on the 28th May last, Mr John M'Clelland, farmer, Balfern, by Wigtown, much regretted. Mr M'Clelland had gone to Jamaica for the benefit of his health.
MOIR, David Macbeth - D6/7/1851 - At Dumfries, on the 6th instant, David Macbeth Moir, Esq., surgeon, Musselburgh.
BURGESS, Barbara - D3/7/1851 - Suddenly, at Girvan, on the 3d instant, Barbara, aged 1 years, daughter of Mr William Burgess, Blairquhan.
M'GOWAN, James - D3/7/1851 - At Talnotry Tollbar, parish of Minnigaff, on the 3d inst., after 24 hours' illness, Mr James M'Gowan, aged 75 years.

RENWICK, Alexander Walter - D27/6/1851 - At Langholm, on the 27th ult., deeply regretted, Alexander Walter Renwick, Esq., manufacturer there, aged 49 years.
STORY, Colonel - D3/7/1851 -
DEATH OF COLONEL STORY. - Colonel Story died at Brompton on the 3d instant, aged 66 years. He entered the army in 1803 as a cornet in the 3d Dragoon Gurads, with which regiment he served in the Peninsula from 1809 to the end of the war in 1814, during which period he commanded a troop. The late Colonel Story received the war medal and three clasps for his services at Talavera, Albuera, Vittoria, and Toulouse.
