Hi Bill
You will find that is a common fault with the 1841 census- the 1851 is so
much better.
I had one relative who was enumerated age 20- her daughter was enumerated as
10 .The enumerators were permitted to round off the ages for the 1841
census- some rounded it in 10's- there didn't seem to be any 5 numbers
recorded by some!
It is very frustrating isn't it!
