Hi,
I'm looking for information on my great,great grandparents, Andrew Monteith born 1786 in Ireland but moved to Wigtownshire and married Isabol Hendry who was born in Wigtownshire in 1795. They were married 1816 in Penninghame Parish.They had 11 children, all born in Wigtownshire. All except the son, Andrew, came to the United States between 1848-1852. The children are:

James R. b. 1820
Edward Boyd b. 1822
Andrew b. 1824
William Boyd b. 1826
John b. 1829
David b. 1833
Samuel b. 1835
Jessie E. b. 1838
