Subject: [WIG LIST] Rhyme (slightly off topic!)
Date: Fri, 3 Nov 2006 17:52:35 EST
Whilst reading the rhymes included in recent posts part of a rhyme I
remember my Mom reciting came to mind. It started: 'Me, the father (pronounced
faerther), Willie and Ag............................' and I can't remember the
rest although it mentioned lots of names! If I remember correctly, this was
something my Grandmother, Mary Alice McGuigan from Newton Stewart, recited to
her large family of 7!
I know I'm a bit off topic with this one but do any of you knowledgeable
people out there know the rest of the rhyme? I remember it every now and again
and am quite frustrated that I can't remember the whole rhyme.
Thanks.
