Married 7 July 1935 at East Glencairn Cottage, Whithorn.
Janet Margaret McCubbin, 19, of Stannoch, Isle of Whithorn-
father William McCubbin, farm labourer, deceased- mother

I note that whereas he says ROUCAN, GLASSERTON [ie
WIG.shire] my own library shows Roucan as in parish
Torthorwald [ie DUMFS.shire
