Hello folks!
Noticing all the various messages about McCullochs, has anyone got
anything useful to add to help me further here please?
I have a Vans BRYDE born c.1761 in Mochrum; a farmer at West Barr; died
1851. He married Mary McCULLOCH, who wasn't alive by the 1841 census.
She was apparently a daughter of a William McCULLOCH, who died aged 77,
though I don't know dates.
Vans had a son also called Vans (Vance), who's second wife was Elizabeth
Ann McCulloch, born c. 1804
Some previous helpful advice from our marvellous WIG members, including
info from a MI from Mochrum Kirkyard got me this far. But I can't
progress further, and that's despite wading through the WIG archives
too, and trying to figure things out.
Do we know any more about these McCullochs? Do they mean anything to
the other McCullochs people have been talking about recently - any
connections??!
Cheers all, Sue
