I do not know if this will be of interest to you.

One of my ancestors was a Mary Anne Porter. She married John Irvine at Mochrum 18th November 1830. On her death certificate her Parents were listed as William Porter and Mary Porter / M.S.?

Mary Anne Died at Mochrum on 29th March 1887 aged 86 years. So I would assume she was born circa 1801.

I have not come across any of her family yet. It just maybe, Sarah and Mary Anne are related
