Hello,
I hope you don't mind me contacting you but I have begun to do some research on my family tree and have found a christy beaton who was born in c1796 in Tobson Great Bernera, Isle of Lewis. She married a John Macdonald and was my Great Great Grandfathers mother. I have been told that the rest of the family emigrated to Canada.

On another note, there was a man living in Kirkibost, Great Bernera Isle of Lewis who died around 4 years ago called Donald Zachariah Macaulay. Bound to be a relative of yours.
