I found the Heritage Book at the Union County Library (5-hour drive from my
home). My family is listed under “The Robert Vaughn Family #621”. Does
anyone know the person who provided the “Robert Vaughn” information a Louise
Vaughn P. Kirby? You need to review this book it is a great source. I
would like to thank Mike Estes for the list of other book sources, I own the
Union County Cemeteries.

This leads me to my second question, who takes care of the old cemeteries in
Union County? I could not believe how well my Robert Vaughn’s cemetery was
maintained. (Old Cane Creek cemetery). I would also like to thank Michael
Crocker for helping me find the Old Cane Creek cemetery. I cannot believe
every county has such great resources as we have in Union County. Mark
