Looking for others researching Benjamin Johnson d. aft 1798 in Union, SC. He
mar. 1st to ? died bef. 1798. They had following children (Not in order):
1-James Mooreman Johnson b. 1760 in NC d. 1852 in Union Dist., SC, mar. Mary Ann
? d. bef. 1850.
2-William Johnson d. 1819 Union Dist., SC
3-Charles Johnson
4-David Johnson mar. Lucy ?
5-Lucy Johnson mar. ? Miller
6-Sarah Johnson
7-Judith Johnson
8-Benjamin Johnson
9-Samuel Johnson

Benjamin mar. 2nd to Mary Jones. I believe she is a Jones by a previous
marriage.

My line is through James M. Johnson. He and Mary Ann ? had:
1-James M. Johnson b. 1790 in Chester Dist., SC d. aft. 1870, mar. Patsy Ray d.
bef 1844
2-Jane Johnson mar. Wesley Darnell, they lived in Henry Co., TN.
3,4,&5 ? daughters living out of SC

Just recently found this line due to the estate papers and deeds of this family
in Union, SC. It seems to be that they owned land near the Broad River, which
seperates Union and Chester Counties. Benjamin owned quite a large estate and
when he remarried in 1798 to Mary Jones they both agreed to a prenuptual
agreement not to take share of each others previous estates.

Would like to here from someone who might know more about this family.
