Subject: [SCUNION-L] MARSHALL CLARKE

I am looking the parents of, or any information about MARSHALL CLARKE. He was.born
c1836, and was living in the household of my gg-grandfather John Baylis CLARKE, Jr , born
c1824and his family in the 1860 Anderson Co. SC census. John Baylis Clarke, Jr. was
listed as a merchant tailor and Marshall was listed as a tailor.
I feel certain that MARSHALL CLARKE is a relative of my CLARKE family in Anderson,
SC. Finding his identity and his relationship to my Anderson SC Clarkes would go a long
way toward determining the ancestry of John's father John Baylis CLARKE, Sr., born c1791in
SC.
I am looking for CLARKES from the mid-atlantic states who were tailors, a CLARKE
who may have married a MARSHALL or amy information about a Marshall CLARKE born in the
1836 time frame. Any clues or information will be truly appreciated.
