We have had a few people get a bit excited over the "Free Look-up" message
that I forwarded yesterday. On the same site, Rex mentions that he does
research in the Ft. Wayne, Indiana Library for a very reasonable fee.
However, the difference is abundantly clear.

He does free look-ups in the materials that he owns, including the entire
1880 census and most states for 1790 and 1850. Hardly a day goes by that
someone does not query this list about a look-up in those census years.

He charges if he goes to the library, and why not?

I don't know this man and have had no communication with him whatsoever. I
have been to this library and it is AWESOME. It is second only to the LDS
library in Salt Lake City.

If any of you do not wish to avail yourselves of his service, free or
otherwise, then I certainly hope you did not feel pressured to do so.
