Subject: Ann Musgrove Smith, pension application of 1817
Date: Wed, 11 Aug 2004 15:07:41 -0400
In several online family tree sites I have seen reference to a Revolutionary War Pension application described in this way:
David Smith married (2nd) Ann Musgrove, widow of Edward Musgrove of Musgrove Mill. She applied to a Revolutionary War Pension in 1817 based on the services of David Smith of Padgett's Creek Monthly Meeting.
I have tried as many different sources as I can find to track down the specifics of this Pension Application, but so far I've had no luck. Does anyone have any thoughts, clues, ideas, or specific details that will help me find a way to find this Pension? If I find it I will gladly transcribe for this list and for the SC and Union County web sites!
Thanks and Best wishes,
Judy Russell
Bogart, GA
(PS: There was another David Smith, Rev Soldier, who married Rebecca Lindley and moved to Georgia...this is NOT the one I'm looking for.)
