Hi Nancy,

There is no James in the index. John is only named in the will of Charner
Adams: "bay mare purchased of John Haney.."

According to the probate index there are probate records for both of them --
just not wills. This book list wills only. They have the Union Co. Probates
on microfilm at the Spartanburg library. I need to go next week and will
look those up when I go.
