My face is a bit red but, still, am glad to correct my errors. There are
Carriker for real. A good friend gently corrected my error which I share
with
apologies to the Carriker researchers who earlier contacted me:

There are several books on the Karriker/Carriker/Karraker/Carraker family in
the Rowan County Library. As you noted in your message, the spelling
variations are similar to those of Kerr and Carr. The link below is for the
