Departed this life, at his residence in York District, S.C., Nov.24, 1859, Fro. James Boyd, Esq., in the 53d year of his life...leaves wife and large family of children....member of Baptist Church at Mill Creek...

Where was this church? Is it still there? Are there any records that are available?
Does any one have any other info on James Boyd?
