Hello All,
I am sure hoping for some help/connection with my Ross line of
SC/ NC, etc

1st...I don't know if this James Ross is related to my line:

James Ross listed in the Early minutes of the Court of Pleas and Qarter
sessions and many land records seems to be the same James Ross
liste in Edith Warren Huggins "Burke County, North Carolina, Land rRecords
1779-1790 and imprtant Misc. records 1777-1800 Vol. II"
pg 179 Oct. 10, 1792 Swan, John...........meeting to be held May 6th 1799
at James Ross' Tavern in York Co. for sundry "depersitions" now in "Morgin"
court...
also mentions Jonathan Sutton, JP for York Co, SC in same paragraph.
