I am looking for records that refer to my G-Grandmother, Lizzie (Elizabeth) C. Harris [nee ??). She married or at least lived with my G-Grandfather, James Monroe Harris, and they lived in York County, SC when their 3 children were born. The children's names were: Lizzie (Elizabeth, the younger) who first married a Wilson Hollis, then after a divorce, she married to Watt Thompson of Clover, SC; 2nd child of James M. and Lizzie was Claude Harris, who married Hester Pressley; and the third child was Corrie Lee Harris who married Les Hogue. Corrie died in 1930, I do not know when Lizzie the younger died, Lizzie the mother of these children died in 1957 and Claude Harris died in 1960. James Monroe Harris died in Sumter, SC, in 1937.

If anyone out there connects with this Harris family or knows anything of Ms. Lizzie C. ?? who married James Monroe Harris and lived in York with him until their divorce or separation, please contact me at . My name is Judi Harris Oldridge.

Even one little clue might find my G-Grandmother's maiden name and parents. If you are a Hollis, Hogue, Thompson or Pressley descendent connected to this line, please write me. I have much back info to share on the Harris line.
