According to the census records, there were 2 Burger families in Stark
County, Ohio in 1820

In Paris Township:

Daniel Burger, with
1 free white male born1804 and 1810
1 free white female born 1810-1820
3 fwf born 1804-1810
1 fwf born 1794-1804
2 fwf born 1775-1794
1 fwf born before 1775
1 person engaged in agriculture

Also in Paris Township (and on the same page):

Peter Burger, with
1 free white mail born between 1804 and1810
1 free white female born 1804-1810
3 fwf born 1794-1804
1 fwf born 1775-1794
1 fwf born before 1775
1 foreigner not naturalized
2 people engaged in manufacturing

A question comes to mind: Where are the adult males in these
households? 1 male in each, both under the age of 16? My family of
Burgers from Franklin County, Pa. (and some are said to have migrated to
Stark County) were involved with the Snow Hill "Nunnery" , a religious
community associated with the Ephrata Cloister--both were 7th Day
Baptist "Utopias". Was there a similar "experiment" by the 7th Day
Baptists in Stark County, Ohio?
