Huron was platted May 1880. The only city directory for the 1878-1888
period was done in September 1883, which shows no one named COOL. The
next directory is 1905.

However, 1890 Beadle Co. tax records show:
B. COOL, residing in Huron
Samuel S. COOL, residing in sec 13, Theresa Twp
