Mrs. Sarah Brunick Funeral Rites Held Thursday Afternoon
Mrs. Sarah Brunick, a life time resident of Clay, County, passed away at
the home of her son, Bernt Brunick, early Monday morning after a lingering
illness.
Funeral service were held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the Elmore - Wagner
Funeral home and at 2:30 p.m. at the Bergen church with the Rev. George
S. Natwick conducting the last rites.
Burial was at the Meckling cemetery.
Sarah Anderson was born April 4,1861 in Clay County, a daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Lars Anderson, and lived in Clay County her entire life. January
10,1881, she married to Charles Brunick who passed away in June 1931, to
this union were born two sons and three daughters.
Surviving Mrs. Brunick are her sons Alfred and Bernt, of Vermillion. Daughters
who survive are Mrs. Ole Larson of Gayville, Mrs. Ben Paulson of Centerville
and Mrs. Eldon Sweeley of Los Angles, CA.
A sister, Mrs. Annie Doran, of Sioux City also survives.
The Elmore - Wagner Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
