Hello Katie. I am also looking up the Sparby family, My grand father was Peder Sparby, brother to Einar, He married the sister of Aune (Anne) Berg, who married Einar, I have located Einar and his sister Mathilda coming thru Ellis Island in 1903, the stated destination was, White Rock, SoDak. to see brother Peder. who had a homestead 8 miles west of White Rock. the Berg Women were from the area of Dickey county in North Dakota, (Ellendale area) Einar married Anne about 1905. Mathilda married a Lindquist from Webster, So Dak. there is only one of the lindquists left in the area. I kneew most of the Sparby's in the 50's. I am going to be in the Britton area in March or april, and will stop to see Hazel and pearl and see if they can enlighten me any. KURT
