Hello!

I have some ancestors who lived in the Union Twp. area. I'm wondering if
you know the name and location of the cemetery there. I'm looking for some
grave sites, and am not sure where to look.

Thanks!

I am researching the Jens Andersen/Anderson family & the George W.
Shoemaker family of Spink Co. South Dakota. In going through some old
pictures, we came across one of Sanford & Arthur Madsen of Carpenter in
their war uniforms. While visiting the Union township Cem. a few years ago
I met a woman who maiden name was Madsen and now lived in Fargo. She said
they still had the Madsen property in Spink Co. I would like to get a copy
of this picture to her or other members of this family of Madsens. Another
picture taken in front of a school with snow on the ground includes the
names Harry & Walter Madsen, Grace Bailey, William Thompson, Evelyn
Shoemaker, James Ratliff, Francis Raymond, Clara Davis, Janetta & Henrietta
Leptein.

We would be happy to share these pictures. Is there a spot to post pictures
from this area that have Identifed or unidentifed people in them? We would
appreciate any information on the above families.
