I have opened up a house of private entertainment on Cumberland Road near
Hurricane Branch  ~  William Gibson

Anyone know where Hurricane Branch is?  I think this William Gibson is in
Clay County in 1810 and might be the same  as this William Gibson

Born Dec 1753 Monk's Corners SC Lived Guilford, NC enlisted Rowan Co., NC
mother was widow during Rev War. After Rev Soldier lived in Guilford NC for 3

years then to Winchester, Virginia for 2 years then to Rockingham Co., NC for
1
year then to Wilkes and Rowan Co., NC for 12 years. Then to Clinch River in
Virginia and in 1800 moved to Kentucky. 1829 moved to Indiana. Applied Oct
19,
1832 from Boone Co., Ind and died Apr 9, 1835.  Married Nancy Roark.

Rachel Gibson born 1809 and Isaac Gibson born 1813, children of the above
William, gave their birthplace as Clay County, Kentucky.
