Subject: [SEARS] PLEASE READ - from Brenda Sears
Date: Fri, 2 Feb 2007 09:14:05 -0500
Greetings Cousins;
COMPLAINTS:
Several people have complained that the responses for sign-up to the
Brethren Web Site is requiring a undesired amount of email to delete. I
agree. Please, if you want to sign up to that web site (WEB SITE), read the
associated email carefully and respond to the author, not this mailing list
(MAILING LIST). I am not affiliated with the group and believe from what I
see, it is for one lineage of Sears who are/were affiliated with the
Brethren religion.
SEARS-L:
This list, Sears-L is for any and all Sears lineage. To meet others who are
connected to your lineages and hold discussions about your lineages in a
public forum so it may help others. I am pretty sure I founded it in 1997.
There is almost 200 members on the list now, so you should be able to find
someone here descended from your lineage.
NOTICE:
This list is NOT for the purpose of solicitation or spamming and WITHOUT
WARNING you will be REMOVED if you do so. The spam a few days ago DID
result in REMOVAL.
APOLOGY:
I've been a slacker where this list is concerned and not paid a lot of
attention to the emails. I apologize for that. You how one wants to ignore
their own family's faults. Well, now you have my full attention.
Best Wishes to you all for a wonderful weekend,
Brenda Sears
