Thanks both Richards and everyone else who has replied. I have software
(rather expensive) that will create multi-page tifs; the problem is getting
them out again so that they can be used in other programs. I can export,
but only the first page will open. Perhaps I don't have the correct viewer.
I believe the software uses Eastman's Imaging Pro v2.6, probably a light
version, because on the install screen it says that the imaging components
do not have to be installed if that version of Imaging Pro is already
installed. The questions I have, though, are (1) can a tiff file be viewed
in any browser, or does a tiff viewer have to be installed separately on
some systems? (Seems that I had to do just that a year or so ago on my old
Windows 98 system, but know I didn't have to on my new XP Pro system); and
(2) don't tiff files take much longer to load than jpegs and gifs? I don't
believe I've ever seen an instance where tiff images are used on an
Internet site. Richard Cleaveland's solution is also good, but if
multi-page tifs can be made to work in both TMG and SS, that would be the
best of both worlds.

Thanks again,
Laura
