Donald:
I can see we are not talking about the same type of page I am thinking of creating. I tried one
idea using SSite and it will not work.
Everyone:
In Second Site\Help, it says:
records.jpg Records button
Note: The index.htm page has some special logic for the links.jpg, photos.jpg, and records.jpg
images. If you include a file with the same name, but with the extension "htm", the index.htm
page will use the associated button and make it a link to the htm page. So, if the "-t" folder
contains a file named records.htm, then the index page will include the records.jpg image and it
will be a link to records.htm.
So I tried creating a records page and it did not work for me. Don't know what I'm doing
incorrectly but this is what didn't work --
- created records.htm in -t folder
- re-created my page
- opened page from browse site window and the records button was on the index page but it
fluttered and did not link me to records.htm
- another thing happened as well. All the information I previously placed on the index page
disappeared except for my contact information, Carla's logo, Family History logo, and the 3
buttons. Strange. Fortunately, I was working on a copy so it didn't matter.
