Barry

It happened once before when I was trying to uninstall microsoft
office from the trial and I had to use reno to uninstall it.
Now I am trying to install windows 2003 the word program and it
starts to install
and is almost done when I get the 1402 message.
Thanks in advance
Ema

This is a general error meaning that the update could not access a
registry key that it needed to. As for fixing it the solution varies
according to what you were actually updating that failed. Was it a
Windows Update or a particular program that needed an update ?
