Thank you so much for the information. I recall my Father & his family talking much of Aunt "Zett". She was a huge influence in my father's life- Howard Augustus Setzer- & also my grandfather- Augustus Lee Setzer- was her favorite nephew. I never made the connection between her & Cephus as siblings.
Cephus may not have shown up in Louisiana but,my grandfather Augustus Lee was born July 3, 1915 in Taylor,Ark. I knew about McCurtain Co. because Cephus Ray signed his Draft Card Registration in 1930 at 40 with Rosa Bell as his wife. What I'm curious about is the first marriage. My Aunt looks at me like I'm out of my mind when I mention it and doesn't seem to know anything about it, and she's suppose to be the family historian!! Was Cephus Ray married before? And if so,to whom?Might you know something?
I'm sorry to ask all these questions but, I'm new to the computer and searching for family so I not so good at navigating yet. Any information would be appreciated.
