Ruth,
I've been reading with interest your messages about Elemuel Bizzell, the
King family, and the Sewells. Have you seen the book MY FAMILY TREE by
Merle O'Neal Kent. Longwood, FL: Privately published. It was first
published in 1960 (95 p.) and was revised in 1964 (135 p.). I have copies
of both editions of the book.

He covers the Sewells and related families who came from North Carolina and
settled in McNairy Co., TN.

He mentions the Bizzells, Kings, and Sewells (especially the Sewells).
There may be some bit of information in his books that tell about or give
reference to Jane "Jenny" Sewell who married Allen King. He includes some
cemetery records, census records, and land deeds, among other things.

I descend from Elias Sewell, the youngest brother of Frederick Sewell, who
also settled in McNairy Co., TN. Elias is buried at Mars Hill Cemetery.
