Hi,

There is also some speculation John Hover HUGGETT c. 13 March 1808, might in
fact be the son of John Hover HUGGETT and Ann GOWER, and might have been
wrongly transcribed as being the son of John Hover HUGGETT and Elizabeth
(PETTIT). In that case the second John Hover HUGGETT would be his son
instead of his brother.

I'm a direct descendant of John Hover HUGGETT (Ann's husband)'s brother
Richard HUGGETT (he was my father's mother's mother's father's, father's
father). I have lots of information on this family. But so far I'm still
completely and hopelessly stuck figuring out where John Hover and Richard
HUGGETT's father John Hover HUGGETT (sr) came from. I have a few more
generations on Elizabeth PETTIT's side though. Email me if it sounds like I
have anything you are interested in.

Oddly, I also have an Ann (SAWYERS, of Uckfield, SSX m. 1898 in E.
Grinstead) who married a Richard Ford Akehurst on a different branch of my
family tree as well. As if all this wasn't confusing enough:-)
