Hello All
I'm a new member to Sussex FHG - and new to this mailing list (but not so new to genealogy). I am stuck with an ancestor who was married in and died in Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire - BUT HE WAS NOT BORN THERE. His name was Thomas BOWLING born around 1751, and he was a druggist for most of his time. I met a chap in cyberspace who had an Edward BOWLING born in 1724 in Crowhurst - but that was the only detail (apart from that he married Elizabeth - and also that his father was Edward BOWLING born 1724 in Crowhurst also who married Grace).
Does anyone have access to Crowhurst Parish registers (I don't think they are available to purchase) - or maybe come accross this clan?
