Dear all,

We are now over 400 members on the SHAMROCK list and growing everyday.

I would like to reiterate two things for everyone's benefit, for the new
people and the "originals".....

(1) Rootsweb has begun a new filter policy that will not allow any
postings that have html attachments (and a few others too). Basically,
unless you send your message in PLAIN TEXT it will be rejected. If that
happens it comes back to you with a note at the bottom explaining why it
was rejected. **Sending that to me is not going to help, there is
_nothing_ I can do about it other than tell you to reset your email and
resend it , which is what the message from rootsweb basically says.** I
am starting to get a good number of these -- and responding to them is
taking a good deal of time.

(2) PLEASE check your mailboxes if you are going to be away from the
computer for a few days.... I am also getting an incredible amount of
"mailbox full" messages. This list is set to unsub anyone after 3
bounces ... and then people get upset when they are unsubbed... so
please either make room in your mailbox or switch over to digest. Or if
you are going to be gone for longer, unsub and then resub when you get
back.

Thanks for your cooperation in this, and on your participation on this
list. For a list with over 400 subscribers I am hoping that the postings
will increase a bit , so please feel free to send in the names and
counties you are searching in periodically as we have new people each
day.
And if you find any interesting films at the FHC or information please
consider sharing it with the list... its the only way we are going to
learn!
