yes that is what I am trying to do is find similaraties and therefore I see no reason to be smart aleck. Thanks very much!

The company explains that matches in other surnames, usually do not mean
anything, unless the two people find that their ancestors were in the same place
at the same time, then an adoption or something could have occurred. There
have been cases of name changes, too, but if you have a common Haplotype, those
matches should be ignored. In my FRENCH line. I have set a record so far with
about 120 matches with people of other surnames. The good thing is that I
have four matches within my group and have gotten past my brick wall of many,
many years.
