I'm searching for the ancestry of my ggggg grandfather Morris YOUNG whow
as born in the 1770's, possibly in New Jersey. His father's name was
Robert YOUNG and he had a brother named Austin YOUNG.

In 1797, Morris married Hannah LEGATE (or variant spelling) in Rockbridge
Co., VA. Hannah was the daughter of William LEGATE; she had a brother
named Stephen LEGATE.

By 1803, Morris and Hannah were in Cape Girardeau County, in the Missouri
Territory.

Any info or help would be greatly appreciated,
