Hi

David Sherman born 11 Sep 1797 died Apr 1898 married
Ruby Robinson 20 Jan 1820. That would make David 100
years old when he died. It is from the Bible once owned
by Ruby. His parents were:

Abraham Sherman born 2 Aug 1776 Dartmouth, Mass and
Alma "Almy" Tallman born 27 Aug 1773 Mass.

I found David and Ruby in the 1855 census for Ellicott,
Chautauqua Co., NY. He was 57 from Mass. 12 yrs in
the county and was a shoemaker. Ruby was 53 from
Cayuga Co.,NY also resident for 12 yrs. With them were
their nieces from Ruby's side; Cornelia Robinson 21 from
Cayuga and Ruby A. Robinson 17 from Cayuga.

Does anyone know if David and Ruby had any children? - Ed
