Hello Everyone:

I'm brand new to this, but have been viewing for a few days to see what
you are up to. I am pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness and
friendliness of everyone!
My Shermans (whom I am trying to trace) are:

Lemuel Sherman (b. NY State ?, m. 1828 Morrow Co. OH, d. 1881 Cadott
Wisconsin)
-he was married to Mary Ryan, and they had :
Littleton Sherman (b. 6-8-1847 in Gibson Co. Indiana m. 6-16 1872 in
Fort Branch Indiana to Almira "Nellie" Peck, d. 7-28-1911 Cadott,
Wisconsin.)
It is believed that these are related to Gen. W.T. Sherman, but I do not
find them anywhere. Do these sound familiar to anyone? I'm looking to
trace them back to one of the immigrants.
