Hi,

I am searching for information on my 5g-grandfather, Abel Sherman from
Washington County, Ohio, and his descendants.

My 3g-grandmother, Anna Sherman was born Abt. 1797 in Washington County and
married Jesse Scott, January 1, 1816. She was the daughter of Josiah and
Mary Sherman and the granddaugther of Abel Sherman, who was, as the story
goes, the last white man to have been killed by the Indians in Ohio. Abel
had at least three children: Josiah, Ezra, and Amy (m. Samuel Beach).

I would very much appreciate hearing from anyone who has any information on
these families.
