From the sounds of Di Cesnolas I wouldn't put it past him to have shipped the
cargo to another port and reported a hoax shipwreck... ;-)

A check on google.com for SHIPWRECKS resulted in 112,000 hits
A search within results for MUSEUM came up with 17,700 hits
Another search within results for CYPRUS came up with 447 hits.
