Does anyone have a reference to a Rev. J. Shirer in Adamsville, OH in
1866? I have been looking over the town plat from 1866 and noticed 4
lots, #1,4,36 and 37 all adjacent to one another, were owned by Rev. J.
Shirer.

I have two J. Shirers living in Adamsville in that period, James Manley
Shirer, my gggrandfather and his brother John W. Shirer. James was a
carpenter and I don't have a profession for John. This is not to be
confused with John William Shirer, son of Henry C. Shirer, the older
John's brother.
