I probably don't have all the info you are looking for but I can point you in the right direction. Peter Shoaff b. 1755 in Cumberland(now Franklin) county Pa. was first married to Margaret Minks. They had one son, James. Secondly he was married to Elizabeth Minks. They had seven children, Annie, Elizabeth,Peggie, and William all born before 1780. Jacob b.1781, Catherine b. 1785 and Adam b. 1805. All of his children, except Adam, were born in Southampton township, Franklin county Pa.. His grandchildren were born in Lawrence County. So he must have taken his family there sometime in the late 1790's.
His son Jacob b. 1781 (Spouse Unknown) had six children. Annie, Betsy and James, all born after 1798. Peter b. 1806, Thomas b. 1810 and Jacob born in 1814.
His daughter Catherine b. 1785 married Robert Rose in Trumball Co. Ohio in 1810. They had eight children. Elizabeth b. 1811, Jesse b. 1813, David b. 1815, Mary b. 1817, Anna b.1820, Robert b. 1823, John b. 1825 and James b. 1827.
His other son Adam b. 1805 married Comfort Bay in Ohio. They had nine Children. Lot b. 1822, James b. 1828, Tibitha b. 1830, Nancy b. 1838, Charles b. 1841, George b. 1841, Lewis b. 1850 and Mariah b. 1851.
It looks like your links to the Shoaff's in Lawrence County started in Franklin County. All the info that I have here I found at Ancestry.com or from Familysearch.com.
