That's what I'm looking for. I'm not familiar enough with the Sobers. I
figured that if I laid them all out and identified the relationship between
the sponsored and the sponsors, maybe I could figure something out. Most of
the families I have worked with have had their brothers and sisters or
parents as sponsors for their kids... in general. If you look at the Bakers
at Salem, they have only Silviuses sponsoring the baptisms. I don't know
anything about the Sobers and not much about the Heils. I see Bergmann,
Billheimer, Sewitz, Staeli, Miller, Hoch, and probably some others in
relationship to people I knew were related to the Silviuses or sponsored for
people I knew were related to the Silviuses. I haven't finished the whole
spread sheet, though, and I haven't looked for relationships for all of them.
It just seems that Maria Catharine's family would be in there somewhere.....
unless she didn't have brothers or sisters and her parents were dead (worst
case scenario)
I also see Sarah Andrä & Andreas Rerich sponsoring Christina Heil,
daughter of Jonathan Heil & Anna Maria Heil. But that's the only other Andre
who has showed up on my spread sheet so far. I'm far from done.
