I have several Simmons/Simmonds in my family. I have a family narrative that states that they came through Tn from Va on their way to Logan County, Ky. I have Corneila Simmons (b 7/22/1824 d 7/25/1909 married to Samuel Stigger Dearmond,sister Mary married James Wesley Dearmond 1/9/1864. Another sister, Amanda married Daniel Epley. I have their parents listed as John and Kiturah Simmons. I have a death certificate on Josephine Napoleon Bonaparte Dearmond Toomey-parents from VA
