There is a Richard Simmons, b. Aug. 1884 TN listed in 1900 Van Buren Co., TN census in household of Joseph K. Simmons, b. May 1829 TN and Susan Simmons, b. Feb. 1836 TN. Joseph and Susan Simmons are found in Putnam Co., TN in 1860, Warren Co. TN in 1870, Van Buren Co. TN in 1880 and 1900.
