I know this isn't the right time frame for your Acenath (etc. :-) BUT it is
such an unusual name I decided to send this:
A(n) Joseph Seamans (later generations would be Simmons) b. ca 1683 in
Lancaster Co., VA had a daughter Assenath Seamans b. ca 1718. I was never
able to find any additional information about her. She was the sister of my
Ephraim Simmons (b. ca 1719 Richmond Co.,VA ) who married Mary Pew/Pugh.
In addition to Ephraim Simmons, her brothers were: Moses; John; Aaron and
Micajah Seamans.
