My John Simmons was a Reverend. He was born on 14 Feb 1796 and died 28 Feb 1878. He married M Sarah Winder, born 1800 and died 15 May 1874. I descend from them through their son, Robert Giles Adam Simmons, born 1818 and died on 24 March 1900. He married Carolyn Elizabeth Caroline Taylor, born in either 1829 or 1830.
