Yes, Patti,
Lucy's Peyton Randolph was the son of Wm Randolph
(of Wilton) who m. Anne Harison.
Not the Peyton Randolph who was President of the
1st Continental Congress who m. Elizabeth Harrison [no issue]
Nor the one who was acting Governor of VA in 1811-12 who was
the grandson John Randolph, brother Peyton Pres of 1st CC.
You really do keep me on my toes........
Later,
Gary
PS, I hope I can stay out of the Daniel "argument" that I
may have started. I suspect that I have 10 times more
actual records that those who are opining.
2nd PS Once when visiting the Peyton Randolph Home in Wmbg
I mentioned to the docent about the children of Peyton-----
I quickly learned that this Peyton didn't have any.
3rd Wilton is a beautiful home place in Richmond
that I'm gonna visit at the Spring VGS meeting.
